Minors in the Bachelor of Construction
Introduction
Minors in the Bachelor of Construction is a Trimester 1 Bachelor program taught at Victoria University of Wellington, wellington, New Zealand. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
Minors in the Bachelor of Construction are optional additional areas of focus within a degree. A minor is made up of a collection of courses in a subject, with a lighter workload than a major because it requires fewer courses and fewer points. Minors are built from at least 60 points from the relevant subject area at 200-level or above.
At least 15 of the minor points must be at 300-level, and those points cannot be counted towards a major or another minor. Minors are offered in subject areas including Building Surveying, Built and Natural Heritage Conservation, Construction Health and Safety, Construction Management, Project Management, Smart Cities and Digital Built Environments, Sustainable Construction, and Sustainable Engineering Systems. Each minor includes specified course requirements.
