Introduction

Minors in the Bachelor of Health is a Bachelor program taught at Victoria University of Wellington, wellington, New Zealand. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Minors in the Bachelor of Health are optional additional areas of focus inside a degree. Most Bachelor of Health subjects can be taken as minors. A minor is built from a collection of courses in one subject area, with a lighter workload than a major because it has fewer courses and fewer points required. Minors are generally made up of at least 60 points from the relevant subject area at 200 level or above, with at least 15 points at 300 level that do not count toward a major or another minor. Available minor areas include Digital Health (INFO 206, INFO 307, plus two further courses), Health Policy and Innovation, Health Promotion, Health Psychology, and Physical Activity and Hauora (offered subject to regulatory approval).
