Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm D
Introduction
Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm D is a program taught at Dow University of Health Sciences, Pakistan. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (5 years) options.
The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) at Dow University of Health Sciences is designed to prepare scientifically and technically competent pharmacists. Students study through integrated theory classes and laboratory work, with hands-on training supported by internships and clinical ward rounds.
Practical learning includes internships allowed after the second year in pharmaceutical industries and in hospitals. Students also carry out clinical ward rounds under the supervision of experienced faculty members and healthcare professionals. Fourth and fifth professional students complete training in Pharmaceutical service centers of Dow University Hospital and Civil Hospital, and in hospital wards such as Medical ICU, Neonatal care unit, Cardiac care unit, and others.
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm D at Dow University of Health Sciences for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
- program specific academic requirment set by Dow University of Health Sciences.
- English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Dow University of Health Sciences as pre-requiste for admission in Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm D.
