B.Sc. Honors in Economics
Introduction
B.Sc. Honors in Economics is a 4 years Bachelor program taught at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, Pakistan. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options. The Study of Economics is a useful means of analyzing the behaviour of consumers, businesses and the government and gives students a better understanding of economic problems facing contemporary society. Majoring in Economics develops in students an analytical ability and flexibility that is attractive to a wide range of employers in both business and government.
The courses have been designed to prepare the students for dealing with economic issues that face the world today. In addition to taking formal courses in Economics, students will be involved in activities designed to develop their research skills. In the final semester they will be required to submit a research report on any area of interest. They will also be encouraged to complete internship in order to gain practical experience and specialized skills necessary for rewarding careers.
