BS Accounting & Finance
Introduction
BS Accounting & Finance is a 4 years Bachelor program taught at University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options. After completion of BS Accounting & Finance you will be able to further continue for advance studies or start career as Auditor, Finance Manager, Finance Analyst, Accountant, Financial Consultant, Chartered Accountant.
BS (Hons) Accounting and Finance is a 4-years programme, which covers intensive Accounting and Finance Syllabi. There are total 126 credit hours including internship. The programme is a mix of strong accounting and finance conceptual framework and soft skills needed to excel in these areas. This programme also improves technical and interpersonal skills of students.
Syllabus coverage of the courses allows the students not only to attain the BS (Hons) degree but also to attempt ACCA (UK) papers, within the 4 years. At the end of this time period, a candidate may become a graduate and a professional qualification holder.
ACCA offers exemption of first 9 papers to the graduates of UCP, BS (Hons) Accounting and Finance Programme. This is the first degree in Pakistan provided by the University of Central Punjab that has been awarded with exemption of 9 papers of ACCA (UK).
Under ‘Accelerate’ programme ACCA exempts Registration Fee, First Annual Fee,and Exemption Fee of the 9 courses to the graduates of BS Accounting and Finance. To complete ACCA qualification graduates just have to pass last 5 papers of ACCA.
This programme has two semesters every year and there are total 8 semesters.
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements for admission in BS Accounting & Finance at University of Central Punjab for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
- program specific academic requirment set by University of Central Punjab.
- English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of Central Punjab as pre-requiste for admission in BS Accounting & Finance.

To apply for BS Accounting & Finance Programme, a candidate must have at least 45% marks or 2nd division in F.Sc./FA/I.Com./ICS/A level or equivalent
