Master of Science in Biology

Master of Science in Biology is a Masters program taught at University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Science in Biology at the University of Santo Tomas is offered by the Graduate School. The program includes core study in Advanced Systematics, Advanced Cell & Molecular Biology, Advanced Ecology, Advanced Developmental Biology, and Advanced Genetics.

Students also choose specialization courses from Biology tracks. Available options include Advanced Virology, Advanced Immunology, Current Techniques in Molecular Biosciences w/ Lab, Advanced Biochemistry, Molecular Phylogenetics w/ Lab, Bioinformatics, and Plant Morphology & Anatomy w/ Lab.

The curriculum also includes pre-requisite courses: St. Thomas and Critical Thinking, Philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas, Philosophy of Nature, and Philosophy of Values. Some specialization courses include lab components as indicated in their titles.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Science in Biology at University of Santo Tomas for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by University of Santo Tomas.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by University of Santo Tomas as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Science in Biology.
