Master of Science in Mathematics

Master of Science in Mathematics is a Masters program taught at Islamic University of Medinah, Saudi Arabia. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Master of Science in Mathematics program provides advanced academic training in mathematical sciences. Students study theoretical ideas to solve mathematical problems, outline models for real situations, and apply creative thinking in proofs. They also use computer algebra systems for solving mathematical and statistical problems. The program is delivered in-class with a regular education type and comprises core courses in differential equations, abstract algebra, computing mathematics, real analysis, research methodology, and electives. A thesis is completed during the second year. The program prepares students for scientific research roles and supports qualifications for further academic study or employment in mathematics-related fields.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Science in Mathematics at Islamic University of Medinah for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Islamic University of Medinah.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Islamic University of Medinah as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Science in Mathematics.

• Applicant must hold a regular full-time bachelor’s degree in mathematics from a Saudi or recognized university with at least a Good GPA.
• Saudi applicants and internal scholarship students must pass the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates with a minimum score of 60 out of 100, valid within 5 years.
• Applicant must obtain at least one of these English test scores: TOEFL-PBT 450, TOEFL-IBT 45, IELTS 4, STEP 60, or equivalent within 2 years.
• Statement of Purpose is required.
• English language requirement may be waived if the applicant is from an English-speaking country, holds a degree from there, or commits to providing the certificate before thesis proposal submission.
