Economics and Data Science

Economics and Data Science is a Bachelor program taught at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (four-year degree programme) options.

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University combines Economics, Mathematics, and Data Science. Students complete major requirements in Economics (ECON) and Data Science (DS), supported by an Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) with common cores and a professional series.

The programme is a full-time four-year course requiring 140 academic units (AUs) to graduate. Students take core and prescribed electives, and they complete a Final Year Project via HE4099 Graduation Project for eligible students. The ICC professional series includes two Professional Internship modules, each 10 weeks long and worth 5 AUs.

The minimum requirements for admission in Economics and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Nanyang Technological University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Nanyang Technological University as pre-requiste for admission in Economics and Data Science.

• NTU General Admission Requirements: A good grade in H2 Level Mathematics, and
• A good grade in General Paper/Knowledge & Inquiry

For International Baccalaureate Diploma holders:

• NTU General Admission Requirements: A good grade in Mathematics at Higher Level, and
• A good grade in English at Standard Level

For NUS High School Diploma holders:

• NTU General Admission Requirements: Major CAP of 2.0 in Mathematics, and
• Good Overall CAP in English Language

For International Students & Students with other qualifications:

• NTU General Admission Requirements: Mathematics at Senior High School Level, and
• A good grade in English at Senior High School Level
