Business (Actuarial Data Science and Business Analytics)

Business (Actuarial Data Science and Business Analytics) is a Bachelor program taught at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years (normal candidature)) options.

The Bachelor of Business with Honours (Double Major) combines two business disciplines in one degree. For Actuarial Data Science and Business Analytics, students gain tools to analyse and quantify uncertainty and apply insights across the organisation. The study combines actuarial methods with analytics tools, with a focus on statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and applied forecasting, plus interpretation of business data for dashboards and communication of findings.

Students complete a total of 137 academic units within the normal candidature of four years. This includes 74 ICC and College Core Courses plus 63 Major Core Courses and Major Prescribed Electives. The programme includes actuarial and analytics approaches to solve cross-functional problems such as pricing optimisation, fraud detection, and customer trend analysis.
