Diploma in Accountancy

Diploma in Accountancy is a Diploma program taught at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Diploma in Accountancy equips students for roles in controllership, assurance, and finance business partnership. Students gain skills for digital and sustainable accounting in areas linked to digital and green economies. Learning is organised by levels, with Level 1.1 at 21 hours per week, Level 1.2 at 19 hours per week, Level 2.1 at 20 hours per week, and Level 2.2 at 20 hours per week.

In Year 3, students choose between a Capstone Project and a Multidisciplinary Capstone Project, or an option aligned to the one-year JobReady Programme. Capstone options include 20 hours per week with a six-month component, and the Multidisciplinary Capstone Project includes 20 hours per week with a six-month component. Students can also choose the Business Electives Programme, which includes Business Psychology, AI & Digital Transformation, and Business Sustainability.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Accountancy at Ngee Ann Polytechnic for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Ngee Ann Polytechnic as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Accountancy.

AGGREGATE TYPE ELR2B2-B

• To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have the following GCE ‘O’ Level examination (or equivalent) results.
• Subject 'O' Level Grade: English Language 1-6
• Subject 'O' Level Grade: Additional Mathematics/Mathematics 1-6
• Subject 'O' Level Grade: Any one of the 2nd group of Relevant Subjects for the ELR2B2-B Aggregate Type 1-6
• Applicants must also fulfil the aggregate computation requirements for the ELR2B2-B Aggregate Type ( English Language, 2 relevant subjects and 2 other best subjects) listed at www.np.edu.sg/docs/ELR2B2.pdf.
