Introduction

Diploma in Offshore Sustainable Engineering is a Diploma program taught at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Diploma in Offshore & Sustainable Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic trains students in naval architecture and marine engineering with a focus on sustainability, decarbonisation, and renewable energy. Students learn how to design and build offshore vessels and structures, including low-carbon and green-fuelled systems and hydrogen infrastructure, with offshore wind identified as a key sector.

The course includes essential digital skills for AI and data analytics, with a choice of specialisation in AI for Engineers or Operational Technology Cybersecurity. Students also study Artificial Intelligence applications, including autonomous vessels, and data analytics for technical operations and processes. Learning includes industry-based projects with local and overseas industry exposure.

Admission Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Offshore Sustainable Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

Applicants must also fulfil the aggregate computation requirements for the ELR2B2-C Aggregate Type ( English Language, 2 relevant subjects and 2 other best subjects) listed at www.np.edu.sg/docs/ELR2B2.pdf.

Candidates with severe vision deficiency, profound hearing deficiency, uncontrolled epilepsy and/or severe physical impairments may encounter difficulties meeting the course requirements and expectations.

GCE ‘O’ Level English Language: 1-7
