Introduction
Diploma in Information Security and Forensics is a Diploma program taught at Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1 year (Part-time)) options.
The Specialist Diploma in Information Security & Forensics helps you secure an organisation’s information infrastructure and conduct digital forensics investigations after security incidents. You complete two Post-Diploma Certificates. The Information Security Management and Audit and Security Vulnerability Assessment subjects cover information security management, risk management audit activities, and assessment of threats, penetration strategies, and counter measures.
You then complete Digital Investigation and Forensic Techniques and Forensic Incident Management. These subjects cover digital evidence investigation and techniques, using open-source and commercial toolsets for extraction and analysis, and reviewing and correlating evidence to reconstruct incidents. You also learn incident containment, capture and analyse network traffic anomalies, and respond to simulated real-world incidents using SIEM tools.
