B.A. English is a Bachelor program taught at Seoul National University, South Korea. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The B.A. English degree at Southern Nazarene University builds an English-focused study plan based on a student’s career and academic goals, starting with a first entry level class that addresses what to do with an English degree. As students follow a tailored degree plan, they may take classes across disciplines including Speech Communication, Technology, Theology, and Fine Arts, offered in a Learning Community setting with a cross-discipline teaching team.
Learning includes hands-on experiences beginning during a student’s first semester, such as working with the student on-line newspaper, joining the yearbook staff, contributing to the university literary student magazine, and taking part in research and presentations at a Research Symposium. Upper-level students can join a Spring Break trip to London for class credit. The degree also includes internship or volunteer opportunities and academic involvement such as work connected to the Poetry Society of Oklahoma Youth Awards, Modern Language Association membership, and additional study programs named in the curriculum.
