B.A. Politics and Law
Introduction
B.A. Politics and Law is a Bachelor program taught at Seoul National University, South Korea. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Politics and Law program at Southern Nazarene University offers two tracks: Political Science and Pre-Law. In the Political Science track, students study theories of politics and explore sub-fields including comparative politics, international relations, and American politics. In the Pre-Law track, students take classes that prepare them for law school, including logic, ethics, and writing classes.
Both tracks include opportunities designed to support practical experience. Pre-Law students are placed in a workplace for an internship to gain on-the-job experience. The program also encourages students to travel overseas, with past destinations including Europe, China, Africa, and Costa Rica. Students may join the department’s honors society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and may participate in the school’s chapter of the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature.
The program aims to prepare graduates to participate in political, economic, and social debates. Political Science students are described as pursuing careers in government, humanitarian work, advocacy work, missions, or continuing to graduate studies. Pre-Law students are described as preparing for law school.
