Doctor in Management (PHD)

The Doctor in Management (PhD) at IE University Doctoral School is a full-time research degree designed to prepare international scholars with a multicultural view of management. Over four years, you build a methodological foundation and then move into independent research under close supervision from faculty members who are active scholars.

You choose from eight research areas, spanning strategy, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and beyond. The program is delivered in person in Madrid and supports research alongside internationally recognized faculty and an international cohort of future academics and early-career researchers. It is designed for careers in academia, including publishing original research.

The minimum requirements for admission in Doctor in Management (PHD) at IE University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:
