Introduction

Grado en Bellas Artes is a Bachelor program taught at Universidad de La Laguna, Spain. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

The Grado en Bellas Artes at Universidad de La Laguna is an official degree designed to train artists and visual arts professionals in the creation processes and interdisciplinary experimentation across areas of visual arts in the 21st century. It covers both autonomous artistic production and new image-based cultural expressions, from illustration to cultural management. The course also prepares graduates for postgraduate study continuation in the EHEA.

The programme gives academic weight to each student’s personal artistic creation project. This develops through nine subjects from the second to the fourth year, within one of four creation areas: Sculpture, Illustration–Animation, Painting, and Transdisciplinary Projects. It culminates in the completion of the Final Degree Project. Teaching is in person, with a total of 240 ECTS and a duration of four years.
