Certificate Programme in It Applications

Certificate Programme in It Applications is a September 22 Diploma program taught at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIT), Sri Lanka. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (116 Hours (03 Months)) options.

The Certificate Programme in IT Applications at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) builds a foundation in information technology for beginners and aspiring professionals. You study core areas including computer architecture, computer arithmetic and data representation, boolean algebra and logic gates, operating system concepts, and programming fundamentals through C and C#.NET.

You also cover database design and development using MS SQL Server and Oracle, web development basics including HTML and CSS, computer networking including IP and TCP/IP for local area networks, and an introduction to artificial intelligence. The programme uses physical delivery and includes a course schedule of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8.30 am to 12.45 pm, totalling 116 hours over 03 months.

The minimum requirements for admission in Certificate Programme in It Applications at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIT) for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIT) as pre-requiste for admission in Certificate Programme in It Applications.
