Bachelor of Science in Data Science

Bachelor of Science in Data Science is a Bachelor program taught at American University of Sharjah, UAE. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Bachelor of Science in Data Science at American University of Sharjah builds skills for data analysis, interpretation, and problem-solving using a foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computing. Students work with real-world datasets to turn complex information into insights, with an emphasis on data analysis and communication.

The curriculum includes general education requirements, an innovation and entrepreneurship requirement, major requirements and major electives, and free electives. The program also offers an Accelerated Master’s Program for AUS undergraduate students, allowing them to take up to six credit hours of graduate-level courses that can count toward major and/or free electives.

• program specific academic requirment set by American University of Sharjah.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by American University of Sharjah as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science in Data Science.

Formal admission to the program follows AUS undergraduate admission requirements. Students transferring into the program must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and permission of the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics or the college Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs.
