Global PhD Programs

Global PhD Programs is a PhD program taught at New York University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Intake: fall intake. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years coursework in New York City before research and th) options.

Global PhD Programs at New York University Abu Dhabi focus on Engineering and Science. The programs are started at the New York campus and completed at the NYU Abu Dhabi campus, and they are offered in collaboration with NYU Tandon School of Engineering, NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science, and NYU Steinhardt. Students begin coursework in New York City and then come to NYU Abu Dhabi to complete research and a thesis.

Global PhD Student Fellowships provide a New York University degree upon graduation. Students complete graduate coursework in New York City for 1–2 years, then complete research and thesis work at NYU Abu Dhabi. The program includes tuition, fees, and health insurance throughout, a research assistantship and stipend provided by NYU Abu Dhabi, assistance for degree-related travel between Abu Dhabi and New York, campus accommodation at no cost in Abu Dhabi, and a contribution toward accommodation costs in New York.

The minimum requirements for admission in Global PhD Programs at New York University, Abu Dhabi for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by New York University, Abu Dhabi.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by New York University, Abu Dhabi as pre-requiste for admission in Global PhD Programs.
