Bachelor of Business Administration

Bachelor of Business Administration is a Bachelor program taught at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 Years) options.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology trains students in business administration and management. It is designed to prepare learners for leadership and management roles, with applied knowledge and skills for areas such as accounting, finance and banking, human resource management, procurement, and marketing.

The programme has a duration of 3 Years and is offered Fulltime. It focuses on equipping students with knowledge and skills to manage business activities in organizations, apply business practices, and address community challenges for sustainable development.

The programme is particularly suited to people who wish to train as entrepreneurs or who intend to be employed in management. It aims to prepare graduates for career opportunities across business administration.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Business Administration at Mbarara University of Science and Technology for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Direct Entry

• Two principal passes at A’level with at least one being either in Economics Entrepreneurship or Mathematics

Diploma Entry

• Hold UDBS or ODBS or HFM Diploma recognized by the University or must have completed at least level one of CPA, ACCA, or CIMA

Higher Education Access Certificate (HEAC)

• The applicant should possess HEAC with at least a credit in relevant subject from a recognized university.
