Master of Medicine in Obstetrics Gynaecology

Master of Medicine in Obstetrics Gynaecology is a Masters program taught at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 Years) options.

The Master of Medicine in Obstetrics/Gynaecology is a postgraduate specialist training program for medical doctors who want to become certified Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. It focuses on the health of the female reproductive system and the management of pregnancy, childbirth, and the post-partum period.

The course is a clinical and academic program with a duration of 3 years. It is full-time and includes both clinical and academic training for medical doctors aiming for specialist certification.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Medicine in Obstetrics Gynaecology at Mbarara University of Science and Technology for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Medicine in Obstetrics Gynaecology.

• An honors degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
• Has been in recognized institution for at least one year after full registration.
• Should not have retaken Obstetrics and Gynecology at undergraduate level.
• An applicant shall earn bonus points based on their performance in Obstetrics and Gynecology
