Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy

Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy is a Bachelor program taught at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 Years) options.

The Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (course code BSP) is a program in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. Students study the science subjects required for entry, including Biology and either Physics or Mathematics for direct entry.

The program is full-time and has a duration of 4 years. Fees are different for Ugandan and international students, with separate tuition and functional fees listed for each group.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Mbarara University of Science and Technology for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.

• Direct Entry: Two principal passes in Biology and one of either Physics or Mathematics
• Diploma Entry: Diploma in any one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Orthopaedic Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Orthopaedic Technology, Exercise Science, Nursing or Sports Science.
• Diploma Entry: At least a credit in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at O’ Level or its equivalent
• Diploma Entry (Completion): Diploma in Physiotherapy
