Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a Bachelor program taught at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences is an undergraduate course in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (course code: PHS). The programme is for students who want training in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

It is a full-time programme with a stated duration of the course. Entry is available through direct entry or diploma entry pathways, based on subject passes and prior qualifications.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Mbarara University of Science and Technology for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Mbarara University of Science and Technology as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Direct Entry: Two principal passes, one in Chemistry and the other in any one of Biology, Physics or Mathematics.

Diploma Entry: Diploma in Pharmacy or Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology. Should have passed Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and English at 0’ Level with at least a credit.
