Bachelor Of Commercial Art

Bachelor Of Commercial Art is a Bachelor program taught at Nkumba University, Uganda. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 Years) options.

Bachelor of Commercial Art at Nkumba University is designed for students who want to become proficient designers. Students study creative identity through the use of varied materials, including metal, cement, clay, wood, paint media, and digital media. The programme includes compulsory course units and electives, and it uses study field tours within electives.

Students complete a total credit load of 134 to graduate. The programme structure is presented as a set of course modules, covering the required units and elective options.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor Of Commercial Art at Nkumba University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Nkumba University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Nkumba University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor Of Commercial Art.

Direct Entry Scheme

• At least 5 passes at Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent;
• At least 2 principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.

Diploma holders

• Hold a Credit or Second-Class Diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institution as determined by the University Senate.
• At least a Pass (50%) in Mature Entry Examinations.

Mature age Entry

• The applicant should be 25 years of age and above;
• Must have passed mature age entry examinations organized by the National Council for Higher Education.
