Bachelor of Business Administration

Bachelor of Business Administration is a Bachelor program taught at Nkumba University, Uganda. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 Years) options.

The Bachelor of Business Administration at Nkumba University focuses on business knowledge and analytical decision-making for managerial roles. Students study areas including organisation theory, quantitative methods, computer applications, business ethics, fundamentals of accounting, mercantile law, business communication, economics, business statistics, marketing management, and fundamentals of procurement management.

The programme is structured around core modules and includes topics such as business finance, intermediate accounting, administrative function, systems analysis and design, strategic management, money, banking and insurance, employment law, taxation management, company law, research methods, cost accounting, business statistics II, and an internship. Later modules include advanced accounting, auditing, entrepreneurship, computerized accounting, management accounting, and a dissertation.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor of Business Administration at Nkumba University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Nkumba University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Nkumba University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education and 2 principal passes obtained at the same sitting, one of which MUST be in either

• Economics
• Mathematics

A Credit in Mathematics at UCE.

OR

• UDBS or
• ODBS or
• HFM Diploma from a recognised Institution or
• At least level one of CPA, ACCA, or CIMA
