Bachelor Of Procurement And Logistics Management is a Bachelor program taught at Nkumba University, Uganda. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (3 Years) options.

Nkumba University offers a Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management designed to prepare students for careers in procurement. Students study ethical procurement and learn to manage and administer the processes by which a firm or organization contracts for goods, services, or works to support operations. The programme also supports career growth in logistics and supply chain management.

The programme is structured as a three years programme, with modules spread across semesters. Students take courses such as Warehousing Management, Transport Management, Inventory Management, Strategic Procurement Management, E-Procurement, Sustainable Procurement, and Procurement Ethics, Audit And Investigations. The curriculum also includes Computer Applications I and Computer Applications II and culminates in a Research Dissertation.

Graduates can pursue roles including Procurement Officer, Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Manager, Transportation Manager, Sourcing Specialist, Operations Manager, Purchasing Manager, Inventory Manager, and Customs Officer.

The minimum requirements for admission in Bachelor Of Procurement And Logistics Management at Nkumba University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Nkumba University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Nkumba University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor Of Procurement And Logistics Management.

Direct Entry Scheme
At least 5 passes at Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent;
At least 2 principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.

Diploma holders
Hold a Credit or Second-Class Diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institution as determined by the University Senate.
At least a Pass (50%) in Mature Entry Examinations.

Mature age Entry
The applicant should be 25 years of age and above;
Must have passed mature age entry examinations organized by the National Council for Higher Education.

Other
A certificate obtained after 2 years of post UCE study;
Any equivalent qualifications besides UCE and UACE.
