Diploma in Information Systems and Technology

Diploma in Information Systems and Technology is a Diploma program taught at Nkumba University, Uganda. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Diploma in Information Systems and Technology at Nkumba University prepares students for work in ICT. Students develop skills to develop, implement, manage, and maintain information and communication technology solutions. The program also covers principles and methods of ICT project management and the technologies and systems used in the industry.

The course leads to roles including software developer, network administrator, database administrator, systems analyst, and technical support. It is organized as a diploma program with course modules, and it includes ICT project management principles and methods.

The minimum requirements for admission in Diploma in Information Systems and Technology at Nkumba University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Nkumba University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Nkumba University as pre-requiste for admission in Diploma in Information Systems and Technology.

• A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a minimum of 5 passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
• Uganda Advanced Level Certificate (UACE) with at least one Principal Pass, and 2 subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
• A certificate obtained after 2 years of post UCE study from a recognized institution.
• Any equivalent Certificate besides UCE and UACE from a recognized institution.
