Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies

Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies is a Masters program taught at Nkumba University, Uganda. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (2 years) options.

The Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies at Nkumba University is a two year programme designed to give graduates knowledge and skills to understand and deal with security and strategy issues from an inter-disciplinary perspective. The programme explores security and strategic concerns at local, regional, and international levels. Students also conduct research in their last semester.

The programme requires candidates to complete a total of 17 taught courses. It is structured around taught coursework and a research component completed during the last semester, supporting a study focus on security and strategic concerns across multiple levels.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies at Nkumba University for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Nkumba University.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Nkumba University as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies.
