Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Minerals Management and Technology

Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Minerals Management and Technology is a Bachelor program taught at Nkumba University, Uganda. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

This Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Minerals Geoscience at Nkumba University builds knowledge in geological, geophysical, and geochemical principles of petroleum and minerals exploration. It includes courses on sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, and remote sensing.

• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Nkumba University as pre-requiste for admission in Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Minerals Management and Technology.

Direct Entry Scheme

• At least 5 passes at Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent;
• At least 2 principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.

Diploma holders

• Hold a Credit or Second-Class Diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institution as determined by the University Senate.
• At least a Pass (50%) in Mature Entry Examinations.

Other

• A certificate obtained after 2 years of post UCE study;
• Any equivalent qualifications besides UCE and UACE.
