Electronic Engineering MEng
Introduction
Electronic Engineering MEng is a Masters program taught at Southampton Solent University, UK. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
Southampton Solent University’s Electronic Engineering MEng is an integrated master’s programme. Students study analogue and digital electronics, electronics principles, microprocessor systems, applied mathematics, automation and control systems, and data communications and networks. The course also covers professional engineering skills, manufacturing principles, and competition and contracts in engineering.
Teaching supports students to build a foundation in maths and circuitry, then progress to analogue, digital, and microcomputer systems. Students use industry software and complete a major practical project, including embedded systems and advanced data communications. The programme is available part-time, and there is also a STEM foundation year option to progress when students do not have the relevant qualifications or experience.
