International Construction Design and Sustainability Top Up BSc

International Construction Design and Sustainability Top Up BSc is a Bachelor program taught at Southampton Solent University, UK. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1-year top-up degree) options.

Southampton Solent University’s International Construction, Design and Sustainability (Top-up) BSc (Hons) is a one-year top-up degree for international students. Students study built environment professional skills through modules including The Built Environment Professional, International Sustainable Design and Construction, Research Project, and Integrated Project. The course includes in-depth study of sustainability and environmental impact, plus an individual research project related to the international built environment.

Teaching uses block teaching, with assessment at the end of each block through coursework, portfolios, reports, individual presentations, group work, and practical exams. Students work on industry projects and case-studies and apply learning to real workplace scenarios, with opportunities to shadow professionals built into the curriculum. Support includes regular contact with a student “buddy” and an allocated course tutor.

• a Chinese Associate/Ordinary Diploma with a suitable profile in key subjects, or
• a portfolio of equivalent qualifications.
