Introduction

Master of Architecture March is a Masters program taught at Southampton Solent University, UK. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Southampton Solent University’s Master of Architecture (MArch) is an integrated course for students who want to combine creative design with technical expertise and prepare for a career as an architect. Students build advanced design, technical, and project management skills through studio projects, live briefs, and research-led learning. Modules include Architecture and Technology Principles and Architecture Studio.

The course runs as a studio-based programme with work across design from concept to technical detail (RIBA stages 0-4). Students use industry-standard facilities, including design studios, BIM software, 3D printing, model-making workshops, and digital labs. Work is presented to employers and the public at the annual summer show, and students may also take part in studio crits and presentations with industry partners.
