BA (Hons) Early Years and Primary Practice with Early Childhood Graduate Practitioner (Progression Route)
Introduction
BA (Hons) Early Years and Primary Practice with Early Childhood Graduate Practitioner (Progression Route) is a Bachelor program taught at University Campus Suffolk, UK. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
BA (Hons) Early Years and Primary Practice with Early Childhood Graduate Practitioner (Progression Route) is an employment related higher education qualification from University Campus Suffolk. It focuses on developing knowledge and understanding of principles and values that underpin the learning and development of young children, primarily from birth to 12 years. You then critically apply these principles to develop continued professional development and practice.
The course can be undertaken as distance learning, with applications made via the University of Suffolk website. It is delivered using a “block and blend” approach. The course is practice-based learning, so you require support from your employer (paid or voluntary) and you need to identify a workplace mentor for professional support, guidance, and advice.
Each module develops your ability to explore, discuss, analyse, evaluate, and develop your practice in relation to theory, research, policy, and recognised good practice. The course offers FdA EYPP (or equivalent) graduates an opportunity to obtain a full BA (Hons) degree. It is designed to support progression to teacher training or further postgraduate study, and you can also choose to work towards Early Years Graduate Practitioner Status alongside the BA (Hons) EYPP course.
