Introduction

Architecture, BA (Hons) and MArch is a Masters program taught at University of Cambridge, Cambridge, UK. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Architecture at Cambridge combines arts and sciences through creative design. The integrated master's (MArch) course includes design teaching through studio work taught by practising architects and designers, plus lectures, seminars and supervisions (tutorials) in College. Teaching centres on studio work, with usually 2 days a week in the studio and individual tutorials and group critical reviews.

Assessment includes studio portfolios of design work and models (50% each year), plus oral presentations, submitted essays and coursework, dissertations and formal written examinations.

After 3 years on the MArch course, students have the option to leave with a BA (Hons) or progress to the 4th year to complete the integrated master's.
