MBA Internships
Introduction
MBA Internships is a Masters program taught at University of Edinburgh, UK. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
MBA internships are offered by the University of Edinburgh Business School to benefit both businesses and the student. The internships give businesses a way to recruit a mature student with a broad range of skills and experience at comparatively little expense. For students, internships provide experience of the student’s work that can act as a prelude to possible long-term employment with minimum risk.
Each student is supported by an academic supervisor with specialist knowledge in the field, and businesses can draw on resources of the University. The work is flexible and can be tailored to business needs. The page also highlights a substantial outcome from the internship work itself and the dissertation that follows.
The Business School welcomes any company, government agency, NGO or charity with an interesting and challenging project, with a particular encouragement for internship enquiries from financial institutions. Example organisations that have offered internships include Barclays Capital, United Nations, Chicago Board of Trade, Ernst & Young, Shell UK, and Intel.
