The University of Manchester’s MSc Medical Physics in Cancer Radiation Therapy trains you to become a multidisciplinary scientist in medical physics and cancer research involving ionising radiation. You study the radiotherapy patient pathway, including accurate radiation delivery, imaging across the pathway, and optimisation of bespoke treatment plans. The course also includes cancer biology and radiobiology, with an emphasis on how radiation interacts with cancer cells and normal tissues.

Teaching is delivered by academics from the University and clinical scientists/oncologists at The Christie. Delivery happens in person, with units delivered throughout each semester.
