Introduction

Biomedical Engineering Major is a Bachelor program taught at American Coastline University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (five-year) options.

The Biomedical Engineering Major is a five-year, dual-degree program that combines engineering, biology, and medicine. In the first two years, you take introductory biomedical engineering courses plus foundational math and science courses. In the third and fourth years, you strengthen your traditional engineering foundation while building biomedical engineering and physical sciences coursework. Your fifth year culminates in a hands-on project with an interdisciplinary team.

You choose one engineering area—Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering—to combine with the Biomedical Engineering education. The program awards a Bachelor of Science and is delivered on campus through the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering. The final project is a real-world engineering project completed from start to finish with peers from different disciplines.
