Bachelor's in 3+3 Accelerated Law School Pathway
Introduction
3+3 Accelerated Law School Pathway is a Bachelor program taught at Barry University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (6 years) options.
The 3 + 3 Accelerated Law School Pathway is an accelerated track where you complete three years of undergraduate coursework and then three years of full-time law school. You study the undergraduate general education and core courses, then complete law school coursework that includes 30 credits toward the Juris Doctor degree, with credits applied back to the undergraduate degree as elective credits (120 total credits for conferral).
The law school portion is a daytime, in-person program and takes place full-time for three years. The pathway uses a structure where you complete 75% of your undergraduate program (all general education and core courses), and the remaining 25% (elective courses) is fulfilled by your first year of law school coursework. You also take a one-credit Law School Admission Test (LSAT) exam preparation course/seminar and complete the LSAT required for admission to WilmU Law.
This pathway is ideal for students who have earned or transferred fewer than 30 credits toward a bachelor’s degree. Students with a significant number of transfer credits may not be able to apply all of those credits to the 3 + 3 program. Advisors work with each student to plan coursework, including maintaining open elective credits needed for the retroactive credit application from law school.
