Introduction
Electrical and Computer Engineering is a Bachelor program taught at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.
Electrical and Computer Engineering is an undergraduate program in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Students study electrical and computer engineering fundamentals, with opportunities for interdisciplinary research projects across areas such as biomedicine and energy, brain-machine interaction, the internet of things, wirelessly powered implants, artificial intelligence and related computing hardware, and building a smart grid. The program encourages students to explore multiple areas of the field and multiple areas of theory and application.
The Bachelor of Science is designed with few constraints and is built around exploring the profession broadly. The Integrated Master’s/Bachelor’s (IMB) option allows students to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with typically just an extra semester or two of study, with options to go deeper into topics of interest through a wider range of courses.
