Bachelor's in Human-Computer Interaction

Human-Computer Interaction is a Bachelor program taught at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (4 years) options.

Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University is a Bachelor of Science major in the School of Computer Science. Students complete the computer science core of programming, algorithms, systems, and mathematical foundations. Upper-level classes focus on human-computer interaction, and students choose electives to explore HCI topics in greater depth.

The program culminates in a final capstone project course, where students join an interdisciplinary team to produce digital solutions for a client-provided problem. Students may also apply for the Accelerated Master of Human-Computer Interaction program, which starts early on the capstone project and includes work on interdisciplinary teams with an industry sponsor to produce a working prototype.
