Master degrees
Introduction
Master degrees is a Masters program taught at Clark Atlanta University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
A master degree is a postgraduate qualification that advances either a professional or academic career. Students complete master-level study through either master by research or master by coursework. In research degrees, students undertake supervised research and complete a thesis of 50,000 to 60,000 words. In coursework degrees, students complete units of study, assignments and exams alongside research and industry-linked projects.
Most master degrees can be studied full-time or part-time. Some master degrees are nested with a relevant graduate certificate and graduate diploma, allowing an exit option after 4 units for a graduate certificate, after 8 units for a graduate diploma, or after 12 units for the master degree. After completing a master degree, students can pursue a doctoral degree (PhD).
