Creative Writing, B.A.
Introduction
Creative Writing, B.A. is a Bachelor program taught at Clark University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Creative Writing B.A. at Clark University is an English Department major focused on writing across poetry, prose, fiction, nonfiction, script, and screenplay. Students take courses taught by faculty who are published writers and learn to analyze effectively and write persuasively through the study of works by major authors and the creation of their own writing.
The curriculum includes interactive workshops where students present writing to classmates and receive feedback. Students also complete the Creative Writing Capstone course, working one-on-one with faculty to analyze and contextualize their own creative work. Creative writing outlets include four annual writing contests, publication in the Clark student literary magazine, and publication on the Clark Student Voices blog.
