Introduction

Geospatial Leadership, Executive Doctorate is a PhD program taught at Clark University, USA. Intake: Summer. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (Two-year program) options.

The Executive Doctor of Geospatial Leadership (DGEO) is an executive doctorate for working professionals who want to lead organizations that deploy geospatial technology. Students master geospatial technologies and build knowledge and skills in executive leadership, finance, and enterprise strategy. The program focuses on strategic leadership in the geospatial sector, executive-level fluency in geospatial technologies, and executive management and business acumen.

The program is a two-year, single, integrated format delivered primarily online in synchronous and asynchronous courses. It includes a low-residency, cohort-based model with peer learning, collaboration, and professional network building. Students complete two one-week in-person residencies per year on Clark University’s campus and a 3-day in-person orientation at program launch. Learning uses problem-based work built around real-world case studies and includes an applied leadership capstone project.
