History, B.A.

History, B.A. is a Bachelor program taught at Clark University, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The History, B.A. at Clark University is a program for studying the past across eras, cultures, and societies. Students work with artifacts of the past and develop critical skills such as persuasive writing, interpreting data, and giving presentations. The curriculum includes required courses in writing history, United States, European, and global history, plus study of the period before 1800.

History majors complete ten history courses and two related non-history courses. A senior-year capstone course brings together learning from students’ specialization, and the requirement can also be fulfilled through the honors program by writing a thesis. Students can also collaborate on internships and research projects at archives and museums, with examples that include the Worcester Historical Museum, the Worcester Art Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, and the British Museum.
