Master of Business Administration

Master of Business Administration is a Masters program taught at Coker College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (1–2 years) options.

The Master of Business Administration at Coker University is an online graduate program focused on business administration. Students study topics such as motivating others, mobilizing teams, and leading individuals toward a shared goal. The curriculum includes leadership and team management, global initiatives in management, negotiations, financial accounting, financial management, marketing strategy, fundamentals of management, and business strategy and decision making (capstone).

The program is designed as a 30-hour course of study, delivered as a 100% online program. Students take one course at a time in a cohort model, moving through the program together. Group projects are used to provide hands-on leadership experience, and coursework includes analyzing and simulating real companies through a real-world perspective.

There are two entry points per year: August and February. Admission is for applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree with a specified grade point average, and who submit a portfolio that includes transcripts, a one-page personal statement, a resume, and two professional letters of recommendation.

The minimum requirements for admission in Master of Business Administration at Coker College for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

• program specific academic requirment set by Coker College.
• English Language OR any other language requirments as set by Coker College as pre-requiste for admission in Master of Business Administration.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation with an overall undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students with a lower undergraduate grade point average may be reviewed for admission by the program faculty.
• Submit a portfolio of materials including: Official transcripts from all undergraduate and/or graduate institutions attended; A one-page personal statement explaining the student’s educational and career goals; Resume; Two professional letters of recommendation (Electronic signatures accepted).
