Associate of Sciences
Introduction
Associate of Sciences is a Diploma program taught at Colorado Northwestern Community College, USA. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.
The Associate of Sciences (AS) at Colorado Northwestern Community College prepares students to transfer to a four-year institution as a junior to complete a Bachelor of Science program. Students complete 60 credits, including a minimum of 36 credits in math and the sciences. The program is designed to develop analytical and communication skills for transfer or for use in a career after graduating.
Instruction is delivered by faculty who are subject matter experts, and not by graduate students. Students receive more personal interaction with faculty due to small class sizes. The program includes hand-on experiences in math and sciences. Pre-Health students use an on-sight human anatomy lab, and students interested in Paleontology use an on-sight federal fossil repository and local dig sights.
