Introduction

Adult High School Diploma is a Diploma program taught at Community College of Denver, USA. Intake: August, September, October. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time (5- to 15-weeks of in person classroom instruction) options.

The Adult High School Diploma Program at Community College of Denver is for adults (18+ years old) who have not earned a U.S. high school diploma. Students earn at least 10 total credits across Math (4 credits), English (3 credits), Civics (3 credits), and Financial Literacy (0–1 credit). Assessments for Math, English, and Civics are used during onboarding.

Classes are only in person and on campus. Students can take one or two classes at a time, and they can progress at their own pace—finish in as few as 5 weeks or take up to an entire year if needed. Instruction runs for 5 to 15 weeks. Classes are usually held during weekday evenings and weekend mornings and daytimes.

The program includes wraparound support such as tutoring and advising, plus access to instructor and tutor support in class and online. CCD also provides access to Excel Zone tutors during normal business hours. A student ID card gives campus-wide access, and graduates and their guests can participate in the annual commencement ceremony.
