Construction Management Technology

Construction Management Technology is a program taught at Cosumnes River College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

Construction Management Technology at Cosumnes River College provides training for management-level employees for the construction industry and also prepares students to transfer to a four-year college or university construction program. The associate degree focuses on construction plans and specifications, construction estimating, legal aspects of construction, construction scheduling and critical path method, construction safety, materials of construction, and computer estimating for construction, along with related courses in accounting, drawing, and physics.

Students complete required courses to reach the program’s total units, plus the local CRC General Education requirement and sufficient electives to meet a 60-unit total. Field trips to a variety of construction sites to study construction methods and procedures are offered as an instructor option. Graduates may work in project planning, estimating, or project coordinating for contractors, business, and government agencies.
