Introduction

Pre-Engineering Dual Degree is a program taught at Covenant College, USA. Intake: Fall, Spring. The program is offered in campus-based modes with full-time options.

The Pre-Engineering Dual Degree at Covenant College gives students a foundation in mathematics, natural sciences, and introductory engineering, with studies presented through a Biblical perspective. The program prepares students for a chosen engineering major at an accredited engineering school. Students complete a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science from Covenant College and a Bachelor of Science in a branch of engineering such as civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering from their chosen engineering school.

The program is structured as a first phase at Covenant College focused on math, science, and introductory engineering, followed by transfer to an approved engineering school for specialized engineering courses to complete the chosen major.

Covenant has articulation agreements that create transfer pathways with the Georgia Institute of Technology or the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Students may choose another approved engineering school for the second phase, subject to acceptance. Example pre-engineering courses include introduction to engineering and computing for engineers.
