Pre-Physical Therapy Studies

Pre-Physical Therapy Studies at Covenant College is a pre-professional program designed for students who want to pursue admission into physical therapy schools. Students complete prerequisite coursework and may complete those prerequisites through the health professions concentration of the biology major or through electives outside their chosen academic major.

The program’s prerequisite coursework includes General Biology I and II, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, General Chemistry I and II, College Physics I and II, General Psychology, and Statistics. Students can also take upper-level electives in Exercise Physiology and/or Kinesiology, and they complete internships to help them assess fit for physical therapy and support admissions for physical therapy school.
